Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care including bathing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
- Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility, walking, and transferring to ensure safety and comfort.
- Monitor patient conditions and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff immediately.
- Prepare and serve meals according to individual dietary requirements.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Missouri.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
- Ability to lift and move patients of varying weights as required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
