Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, with dignity and respect.
- Monitor Vital Signs: Accurately measure and record patient temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates as directed by the RN.
- Assist with Mobility: Safely assist patients with ambulation and transfers using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team regarding patient status.
- Document Care: Complete accurate and timely documentation of care provided and any changes in resident condition.
- Maintain Environment: Ensure the patient room and common areas are clean, safe, and organized.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Licensure: Current Nevada CNA License or eligibility to obtain one.
- Experience: No prior experience required; we welcome new graduates and those seeking a career change.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs.
- Soft Skills: Strong compassion, patience, and a positive attitude.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency.
