Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, ensuring accuracy.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Communicate changes in a patient's condition or behavior to the nursing staff immediately.
- Document daily care activities and patient interactions accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Arizona.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient empathy.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and lifting, for extended periods.
