Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming in a dignified manner.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature, accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and transfer equipment.
- Document patient care plans, updates, and changes in condition in accordance with facility protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment to prevent infections and accidents.
Qualifications
- Current, active, and unencumbered Colorado State CNA license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
