Job Summary
As a CNA on our team, you will play a vital role in the daily lives of our patients. You will work closely with our nursing staff to ensure our patients receive the highest quality of care in a safe and comfortable environment. Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, feeding, and assisting with mobility.
- Vital Signs: Measure and record patient temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Communication: Report changes in patient condition or behavior to the nursing staff and physicians immediately.
- Hygiene: Ensure patients are clean and comfortable while maintaining a dignified environment.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient care activities and vital signs in electronic medical records.
- Assistance: Assist patients with personal hygiene tasks and activities of daily living as needed.
- Safety: Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff at all times.
Qualifications
- CNA Certification: Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of a CNA training program is required.
- Experience: No prior experience required; we welcome entry-level candidates with a passion for healthcare.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Compassion: Genuine empathy and a desire to help patients improve their quality of life.
- CPR Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
