Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic RN to provide exceptional patient care in our state-of-the-art facility. You will be the heartbeat of our department, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction through your expertise and compassion.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions continuously and respond immediately to any changes or emergencies.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities, assessments, and interventions.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Adhere to all regulatory standards, infection control policies, and hospital safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Mexico.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
