Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals monitoring, and prepare patients for examinations by physicians.
- Administer medications and injections according to strict protocols and physician orders.
- Manage and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately and confidentially.
- Assist with basic laboratory procedures, including phlebotomy and specimen processing.
- Greet patients warmly, manage front desk operations, and ensure excellent customer service.
- Provide patient education regarding medications, treatments, and preventative care plans.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) is required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification must be maintained.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably with weekend availability.
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) software systems.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
