Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist nurses and physicians with patient examinations and treatments.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and charge nurse immediately.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or enrollment in a CNA program (for entry-level candidates).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients safely (up to 50 lbs) with proper body mechanics.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented mindset.
