Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure patient safety.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and visitors.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Pennsylvania (or willing to obtain).
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong compassion, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Willingness to travel between Pennsylvania and New York locations.
