Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding) in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Monitor Vital Signs: Take and record blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates as directed by nursing staff.
- Maintain Hygiene: Ensure patients are clean, comfortable, and their environment is safe and sanitary.
- Assist with Mobility: Help patients move, transfer, or walk using appropriate equipment and body mechanics.
- Document Care: Accurately log patient information, symptoms, and care provided in electronic health records (EHR).
- Communicate with Team: Report changes in patient conditions or concerns to the Charge Nurse immediately.
Qualifications
- CNA License: Must possess a current, unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant license in the State of California.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Compassion: A genuine passion for patient care and a patient-first attitude.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods.
