Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, mobility)
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care provided
- Support nurses with clinical tasks including wound care and medication assistance
- Create positive patient experiences through companionship and emotional support
- Maintain clean, safe environments following infection control protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure holistic patient needs
- Participate in shift handovers with accurate documentation
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification (or enrollment in state-approved training program)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Background check and drug screen clearance
