As a CNA, you will play a vital role in our patient's recovery and well-being. You will work closely with our nursing staff to ensure that every patient receives the highest standard of care in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and equipment to prevent injury.
- Collaborate with RNs, LPNs, and other team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition accurately in the EMR system.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergencies within your scope of practice.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Georgia CNA Certification (CNA I) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care, or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and stand for extended periods as required by the job.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others.
