Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature accurately.
- Communication: Effectively communicate patient status and changes to the nursing staff and physicians.
- Hygiene: Ensure patient rooms and personal hygiene are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient care logs.
- Emergency Response: Assist in responding to medical emergencies and following safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current California State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical or long-term care setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of basic life support (BLS) and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Compassion: Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods as required.
