Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide basic bedside care and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Document patient care plans, observations, and changes in condition accurately.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Support patients during medical procedures and examinations as directed.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered North Carolina CNA Certification required.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Compassionate nature with a strong commitment to patient dignity and privacy.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
