Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring dignity and comfort.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature accurately.
- Prepare and serve meals according to specific dietary requirements and feeding schedules.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families during their stay.
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas or medical appointments as needed.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff to report changes in patient condition.
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license and current registration.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients as required.
- Proven ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
