Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques.
- Feed patients according to dietary restrictions and care plans.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and physicians promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
- Document all care activities accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
Qualifications
- Current and valid California CNA License.
- Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS preferred.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
