Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
- Document patient observations and care activities accurately in medical records
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment
- Support emotional well-being through active listening and companionship
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated patient care
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care or long-term care experience
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record documentation
- TB test and health clearance within the last 12 months
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
