Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized daily care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document resident observations accurately
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Support residents with meal preparation and feeding when needed
- Facilitate therapeutic activities and social engagement programs
- Maintain clean, safe resident environments following infection control protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for coordinated resident support
Qualifications
- Active Virginia CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent long-term care or hospital experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Compassionate approach with geriatric populations
