Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care delivery
- Support licensed nursing staff with patient care procedures and treatments
- Maintain a clean, safe, and infection-free environment for residents
- Facilitate meaningful social interactions and recreational activities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans
- Respond promptly to resident needs and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active Illinois CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of long-term care experience preferred
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Proficient in electronic health record documentation
