Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming) to elderly residents
- Monitor and document vital signs, health status, and dietary intake
- Assist with mobility transfers, ambulation, and range-of-motion exercises
- Administer medications under supervision and maintain accurate medical records
- Facilitate engaging social activities and emotional support for residents
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement care plans
Qualifications
- Active North CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year long-term care or assisted living experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid NC driver's license preferred
