Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient responses, and care progress
- Assist with meal service and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Collaborate with RNs and medical staff to implement care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe environment for patients and staff
- Support emotional well-being through patient interaction and reassurance
Qualifications
- Active NYS Certified Nursing Assistant certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification from recognized provider
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
