Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, positioning, and patient transfers using proper techniques
- Document patient observations accurately and maintain electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to implement treatment plans
- Ensure patient rooms are clean, sanitized, and well-stocked
- Support patient education on care procedures and health maintenance
Qualifications
- Active Georgia CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Completion of hospital-specific orientation program
