Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vital signs monitoring, and prepare patients for examination.
- Assist physicians and nurses during medical procedures and treatments.
- Manage and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately and confidentially.
- Assist with basic laboratory tasks, including specimen collection and testing.
- Coordinate patient appointments, reminders, and follow-up care.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized clinical environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients to ensure comfort and understanding of procedures.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification required.
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a medical setting is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Proficiency with computer systems and medical software.
