Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established nursing protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patients' conditions continuously and respond immediately to any changes or emergencies.
- Document patient care activities, including symptoms, progress, and outcomes in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment by complying with all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina (or eligible for reciprocity).
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, BSN, or MSN).
- Passing score on the NCLEX-RN examination.
- CPR (BLS) certification required prior to start date.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Demonstrated compassion and commitment to patient-centered care.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with electronic health record systems.
