Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on medical needs.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to strict hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments, escalating critical issues immediately.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families during critical care.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care nursing experience preferred, especially in Med-Surg or ICU.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-paced, 12-hour night shift environment.
