Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and document resident health changes accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and ensure resident safety protocols
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement personalized care plans
- Administer medications under RN supervision per state regulations
- Maintain clean, sanitized environments in resident living spaces
- Support emotional well-being through positive resident interactions
Qualifications
- Active Maryland CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year long-term care or hospital experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Valid Maryland driver's license (for potential transport duties)
