Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist nursing staff with medical procedures, treatments, and examinations.
- Document patient information accurately and in compliance with hospital standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment to prevent infection and ensure patient comfort.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Colorado.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on empathy.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as necessary.
