Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent injury and bedsores.
- Document patient care activities and symptoms accurately in medical records.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and physicians promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Ohio CNA license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed.
