Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Assist with mobility, including transferring patients to and from beds or wheelchairs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff promptly.
Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio CNA certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and transfer patients safely (up to 50 lbs).
- Previous healthcare experience preferred but not mandatory.
