Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility issues using wheelchairs or walkers.
- Communicate patient changes and concerns to the nursing staff and physicians.
- Prepare and serve meals to patients according to dietary restrictions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current and valid State of Texas Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CPR/BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) is required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
