Job Summary
As a CNA at CareNet Health, you will provide essential daily living assistance to patients while monitoring their health and reporting changes to nursing staff. We are looking for individuals who are patient, detail-oriented, and passionate about elderly and patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent bedsores.
- Assist with mobility and transfer patients to wheelchairs or beds safely.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and care logs.
- Communicate effectively with RNs and other healthcare team members.
Qualifications
- Valid Georgia CNA Certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Clean criminal background check and drug screening required.
