Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, reporting any abnormalities to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient safety and prevent falls.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary patient environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams regarding patient status and care plans.
- Administer medications as directed by licensed nurses and document all procedures accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license valid in the State of California required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Previous experience in a clinical or home care setting is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for on-site facility access).
