Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist licensed nurses with medical procedures, treatments, and medication administration as directed.
- Ensure the comfort and safety of patients at all times by following established safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Document patient observations and care provided in accordance with facility policies.
Qualifications
- Current and valid **California State CNA License**.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact compassionately with patients and families.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Previous experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or home health setting is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Professional demeanor and a commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient privacy.
