Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient intake/output, and other clinical data
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and maintain patient hygiene standards
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ensure patient safety and comfort in accordance with hospital protocols
- Document care accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Participate in shift reports and team meetings
Qualifications
- Current Tennessee CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
