Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including walking and transferring to wheelchairs.
- Assist licensed nurses with procedures and prepare treatment rooms.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition accurately.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Virginia CNA License.
- CPR/BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not always required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Compassionate nature with a focus on patient well-being and dignity.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects as needed.
