Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfer using proper techniques and equipment.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient needs.
- Communicate patient changes and concerns to the nursing staff and charge nurse.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Document patient care activities and progress accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current, active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Oklahoma.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred but not required.
- Strong compassion, empathy, and a desire to help others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Reliable transportation and a positive attitude.
