Job Summary
As a CNA at CareBridge Medical Center, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our residents receive the highest quality of life and care possible.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements and patient needs.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Communicate patient status changes and concerns to nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary patient environment.
- Accurately document patient care activities and observations in medical records.
Qualifications
- Current and valid State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be up-to-date.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and patience.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
