Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure and temperature.
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and treatment plans.
- Document patient progress and care activities accurately in electronic health records.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered CNA Certification in the state of Nebraska.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient-centered care.
- High school diploma or GED required.
