Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate care to residents, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure resident safety and comfort.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment, adhering to all sanitation and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status and needs.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding for residents with special dietary requirements.
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA Certification (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overnights.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move residents safely.
