Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Monitor and accurately report any changes in the client's physical condition, behavior, or mood to the nursing supervisor.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning according to specific dietary restrictions.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness.
  • Administer medication as prescribed and maintain accurate medication administration records.
  • Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties to ensure a safe and clean living environment.
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with mobility using walkers or wheelchairs.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is mandatory.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
