Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate patient care and assistance with daily living activities.
- Monitor and document vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse accurately.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and personal hygiene including bathing and dressing.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment in accordance with facility standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by registered nurses and physicians.
Qualifications
- Current Florida CNA Certification and valid state license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs safely.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.
