Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in resident conditions
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques
- Administer medications under RN supervision as permitted
- Maintain accurate resident records and care documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop individualized care plans
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment
Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year long-term care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (or obtainable within 30 days)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Clear background check and negative TB test
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong commitment to resident dignity and autonomy
