Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care activities
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of medical equipment
- Collaborate with RNs and healthcare team to develop care plans
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments and infection control protocols
- Support emotional well-being through patient communication and companionship
- Complete accurate documentation and reports per facility standards
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience in long-term care or hospital setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills in English and Spanish preferred
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
