Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and meal intake
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent pressure ulcers
- Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) while maintaining dignity
- Collaborate with RNs and care team to implement individualized care plans
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent nursing home or acute care experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Clear TB test and negative background check within last year
- Excellent communication skills and compassion for elderly patients
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
