Your Impact:
As a CNA, you will be the vital link between our patients and the medical team. You will ensure our residents receive the highest standard of care, dignity, and respect, allowing them to thrive in a safe and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration rate) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as eating, toileting, and transferring.
- Communicate effectively with nurses and physicians regarding patient conditions and changes in status.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment to prevent infections and accidents.
- Document patient care plans and daily progress notes in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Current and active State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs (if applicable to facility type).
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
