Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance to residents in accordance with care plans.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature accurately.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including transferring them from beds to wheelchairs.
- Communicate patient changes and concerns to registered nurses and healthcare staff promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents and staff.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients to improve their quality of life.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required.
- No prior CNA experience necessary; we value attitude and aptitude over history.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
