Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and mobility needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the nursing team regarding patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nurses.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current Georgia CNA Certification and active license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Previous experience in a hospital, assisted living, or home health setting preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients safely (up to 50 lbs).
- Compassionate demeanor and a commitment to patient dignity.
