Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rate.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and prevent injury.
- Administer medication and treatments as directed by the registered nurse or physician.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team regarding patient status and needs.
Qualifications
- Valid CNA or RN license in the State of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods (up to 50 lbs).
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Willingness to work rotating weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).
