Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, dressing).
- Monitor and record patient vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) accurately.
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized environment for patients.
- Communicate changes in patient condition or concerns to the nursing staff immediately.
- Document patient care activities and medical records according to facility policies.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Ohio.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds frequently.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
