Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Provide basic bedside care and support to patients in various medical units.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and families regarding patient status and changes in condition.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety at all times.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment in patient rooms and common areas.
Qualifications
- Current, active California CNA License required.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred but not required for immediate hire candidates.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient-centered care.
